SDSL AVAILABILITY CHECK

Find out if SDSL is available in your area.

OUR CLIENTS:

Business SDSL packages offer companies good-value, fast and secure data transfer solutions for accessing data internally as well as connecting to external data sources through the internet. Business SDSL sits amongst a number of options for data transfer solutions, such as leased lines and managed VPNs, and compares favourably on a number of points; critically value for money and reliability.

What does business SDSL offer?

A dedicated, secure, private-data-connection business SDSL offers guaranteed upload and download speeds as it does not suffer from multiple users interfering with performance. This also affords a business SDSL connection premium security, ensuring the data being transferred and accessed across the network remains private.

How fast is business SDSL?

Business SDSL is offered in a number of packages, with different speeds, ranging from 512Kbps up to 8Mbps. In addition, all business SDSL packages run on a 1:1 contention ratio, meaning their speed and reliability isn’t affected by multiple users. Even at peak times, high connection speeds are maintained. As for Managed Communications, we are dedicated solely to businesses, so we can concentrate on delivering professional-standard broadband. We have many years of experience in giving some of the UK’s top companies exactly what they need from a business SDSL provider.

Is business SDSL secure?

In a word, yes. Because it’s a dedicated connection, carrying only data from one user, business SDSL networks are able to maintain the integrity of the data and guarantee that it remains private. If you want extra security, we recommend a virtual private network from Managed Communications, to create a virtual locked office linking all your premises or staff. This also enables home working and prioritising bandwidth to high-transfer units.

Why choose bonded SDSL?

Bonded SDSL is great for your business because it is not load-balanced, so you will see an increase of throughput. Two or three circuits bonded together create a bonded SDSL connection of 4 to 6Mbps, with a brilliant automatic failover system. This means your broadband will be incredibly resilient as a broken link in the chain does not mean broken broadband. The network we have developed across the UK for bonded SDSL is multi-gigabit and dedicated to business, because we know how important your data traffic is.

What options are there for business SDSL?

Managed Communications offers four business SDSL packages offering varying speeds and numbers of available IP addresses. These range from 1Mbps to 8Mbps on the downstream and upstream, using five or 13 IP addresses. The two higher choices incorporate resiliency, but every choice comes with a free SDSL router and backup ADSL. If our SDSL checker reveals that your premises are too remote for SDSL, we would be happy to advise you on other high-speed broadband options for your business; however, we do cover 95% of the business population, so in all likelihood we can connect you.

It’s no wonder so many businesses are opting for Managed Communications systems such as SDSL or VPNs; the benefits for businesses speak for themselves.
